Community Guidelines

Version: 3.0
Effective date: November 1, 2026

Engage Wisdom exists to preserve and share recorded teachings with care. Much of what lives here is considered sacred, or carries someone's voice, memory, and story. These guidelines protect the people in the recordings, the communities who steward them, and everyone who listens. They are part of our Terms of Service.

Treat the Material with Care

  • Respect the dignity and context of the people in the recordings.
  • Upload only material you have the authority to keep on the Service, and publish only what you have the authority to share.
  • Use access controls thoughtfully where material involves minors, vulnerable people, health information, personal tragedy, or other sensitive subjects.
  • Engage in comments and contributions with an open mind and a courteous tone. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.

Do Not Use the Platform To

  • Break the law or violate anyone's rights.
  • Upload or share content you have no right to use.
  • Harass, threaten, shame, or target people, whether here or through material you publish here.
  • Post hateful or demeaning content directed at people because of who they are.
  • Publish someone's private or personal information without authority.
  • Post sexually explicit material, content that exploits or endangers minors, or gratuitous graphic violence.
  • Impersonate people or organizations, or present fabricated material as genuine.
  • Upload synthetic audio or video that could be confused for a real person without clearly disclosing that it is synthetic.
  • Falsely take credit for the words and actions of another.
  • Share private collections or invite links with people who are not authorized, or share your login credentials with anyone.
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download, other than through podcast feeds or the download features the Service provides, or bypass access controls.
  • Manipulate play counts, downloads, or analytics.
  • Spam: unsolicited promotion, repetitive posting, or off-topic flooding.
  • Misuse reporting systems with false reports.

How We Respond

We generally respond with the lightest touch that works: a conversation or warning where that is enough, removal of content where it is not, and suspension or termination for serious or repeated harm. We consider context and severity, and we reserve the right to remove content or close accounts at our discretion where the platform or its users are at risk. We have no obligation to monitor content, and we do not review most of it. These guidelines are enforced chiefly when something is reported.

Content on the platform belongs to, and reflects, the people and communities who post it, not Engage Wisdom. Our Terms of Service state the platform's role and responsibility for user content (Terms Sections 1 and 14); reporting, below, is how concerns reach us.

How to Report

Report content or behavior that concerns you:

  • Copyright: follow the Copyright Policy.
  • Intimate images shared without consent. If an intimate image or video of you, or of someone you are authorized to act for, is on the Service without consent, email office@engagewisdom.com with the link to it or enough to find it, a statement that you believe in good faith it was published without consent, your name and how to reach you, and your signature (a typed full name in the email will do). As soon as we can, and within 48 hours of a valid request, we remove qualifying material and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies of it.
  • Everything else. For harassment, privacy violations, unlawful content, security problems, or content you believe is illegal, email office@engagewisdom.com with the exact link (URL) to the content or, if you cannot see it, enough to identify it (for example its title, date, or speaker), why you believe it violates these guidelines or the law, your name and email address, and a statement that you believe your report is accurate and complete.

We review reports and act where warranted. If we take something down or restrict it, we aim to tell the person who posted it what we did, unless the law prevents it or telling them would put someone at risk. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or write to office@engagewisdom.com, and we will take another look.

Thank you for helping keep this a place where wisdom can be preserved and shared with respect.
